Enigmatic London Trio SAULT Is The New #1

Very little is known about the new #1 in our loop, a London trio called SAULT. Their album “5,” a mix of soul vibes and lo-fi production, currently making waves on the blogosphere. Some of its members have written songs for Michael Kiwanuka and Little Simz and they are released through Kid Sister’s label Forever Living. ‘Let It Go’ is one of their first singles and is our favourite song this week. Thom Yorke and black midi complete the top 3.

Highest new entry is by Swedish experimental songwriter Jenny Hval, next to an record number of new tracks by the likes of Bon Iver; Chris Cohen; Anna Meredith; Jay Som; Gruff Rhys & MUZI; Khruangbin; J Balvin & Bad Bunny; MIKE; Nasty Cherry; Purple Mountains; Simpson; Africa Express and pop starlette Yuna teaming up with the ubiquitous Tyler, The Creator.
