ROSALÍA Double Number One In Our Loop

On a very Hispanic-flavored edition of our loop, ROSALÍA gets to #1 with the two songs of her excellent double sided new single ‘Fucking Money Man,’ in which the Spanish star sings to the two sides of our contradictory relationship with money. Two very different female artists complete this week’s top 3: Lady Lykez and Jenny Hval.

Enigmatic London Trio SAULT Is The New #1

Very little is known about the new #1 in our loop, a London trio called SAULT. Their album “5,” a mix of soul vibes and lo-fi production, currently making waves on the blogosphere. Some of its members have written songs for Michael Kiwanuka and Little Simz and they are released through Kid Sister’s label Forever Living. ‘Let It Go’ is one of their first singles and is our favourite song this week. Thom Yorke and black midi complete the top 3.
