First Loop Of The Year: 2021 Preview

After the Christmas gap, our first loop of 2021 is a mix of a few important releases we missed during our absence and tasters from some of the most anticipated albums of the next months. Taylor Swift is our first number one of the year with ‘Dorothea,’ one of the standout tracks from ‘evermore,’ the surprise album she released before Christmas from the same sessions of her acclaimed and Rober Awards multiple nominee ‘folklore.’ She is followed by Bad Bunny, another of last year’s most notable artists, who also released another album, and Playboi Carti in a duet with Kanye West from his strong comeback work.

Among those new records expected to see the light of day during the next weeks, the long awaited returns of Sleaford Mods; Burial; Arab Strap; Los Planetas; Moor Mother; Lykke Li; SZA; Troye Sivan; Kelsey Lu; Gal Costa; Darkside; The Weather Station.., tracks from much anticipated debut works from the likes of p4rkr; Arlo Parks; Pia Mia; Channel Tres; Virgil Abloh; Saweetie… and a bunch of surpise collaborations such as JPEGMAFIA feat. Denzel Curry; Litte Dragon & Moses Sumney or Bill Callahan & Bonny Prince Billy, who have continued unveiling their joint covers album, with extra guests in each tracks, the latest of which is Ty Segall. Not a bad start for a year we deeply hope will help rebuilding most of what 2020 took away. Check Our Loop in full here.
