The Loop Is Feeling Martha’s Heart

New week, new edition of the loop and a brand new number one by British DIY indie punks Martha, all the way from the village of Pity Me in the North East Of England with their infectious ‘Heart Is Feeling,’ first taster from their forthcoming third album which they will (hopefully) be presenting live as part of this year’s Madrid Popfest on 22-23 March at the Sala Galileo Galilei.

They are followed by American songwriter Sharon Van Etten‘s evocative ‘Seventeen.’ from her just released, excellent fifth album ‘Remind Me Tomorrow’ and Canadian electropop trio Men I Trust with their catchy ‘Say, Can You hear.’ Lizzo‘s irresistibly soulful ‘Juice’ and Unloved‘s sophisticated, retro-infused ‘Love’ complete the top five.

James Blake also releases new album this week, ‘Assume Form.’ Its star-studded new single ‘Mile High’ featuring Metro Booming and Travis Scott is the highest entry. Among the rest of the entries the new offerings by Cass McCombs; Take A Daytrip feat. Octavian; Billie Eilish; YNW Melly feat. Kanye West; HOMESHAKE; El Grajo and the returns of 90’s alt garage-rockers Royal Trux and the Yeah Yeah yeah’s frontwoman extraordinaire Karen O, produced by Danger Mouse.
