Lana Del Rey Back To The Top

She may just have a single on her CV, but the two songs it contains have pushed Lana Del Rey to next big thing status in a record time. Her sensual retro look and the quality of her compositions have already taken her to top our loop twice. This time with ‘Blue Jeans’, the second A side of her first release, that remains our favourite track for a second consecutive week.

In this edition three quarters of our chart are new, with brand new sounds by Tom Waits; Atlas Sound; Connan Mockasin and Wavves leading the new entries contingent; plus generous new track offerings by the likes of Twin Shadow; Gauntlet Hair; Dam Funk and Spanish songwriter Nacho Vegas‘ contribution to the Robo Fundation project.
