Galician groundbreaking maverick Emilio José -watch him above performing with a song by La Lupe as backdrop- is back on top of the loop with his rehash of the standout track from his acclaimed 2009 album ‘Chorando Aprendese’, the melancholy-tinged “Febreiro”.

Rober Awards favorites Burial; Justice; Alela Diane; Fleet Foxes and The National are some of the week’s new entries.

Galician Indie Pop Conquers The Loop

The first release from brand new imprint Garibaldi Records, ‘A Amizade’ (A Friendship), by Galician intimate songwriter Emilio José (not to be confused with the romantic ballad monger from the seventies) tops our loop this week.

And the first batch of 2011 new releases is arriving with new entries by Jonsi ; Akron/Family; Danielson and Lil Wayne Feat. Cory Gunz . And brand new tracks by PJ Harvey and the return of Timbaland & Missy Elliott teaming up again for the first offering of Timbaland’s Thursdays. The producer follows the successful steps of KanYe’s GOOD Fridays by giving away every Thursday a new track for his fans.
