Fed up with 80’s electropop copycats? The new wave of grunge didn’t quite make it for you? Fear not, as the revival of the noughties is about to begin with LA duo De Lux revisiting last decade’s influential mix of disco-funk; post-punk and electronica, which popular favourites such as The Rapture or Scissor Sisters famously championed, in the thoroughly inflectious “Make Space”, the first taster from the band’s forthcoming work “Voyage”.
The lead singer from Puerto Rican garage rockers Davila 66, AJ Davila, is the week’s highest debut, alongside new tracks by Katy B; Woods; The Juan MacLean and the third offering from Neneh Cherry‘s new solo album ‘Blank Project’, a suprise duet with our other favourite Swedish pop starlet, Robyn, that carries on building up our expectations for what may means her big time return to form.
