The latest work from the Coen Brothers is not just one of the best films of last year, but also, as it is custom with the acclaimed independent filmmakers, offers a superb soundtrack supervised by T-Bone Burnnett. One of its standouts, ‘Please, Mr. Kennedy’, the catchy, freely adapted cover of an obscure track from the 60’s which Oscar Isaac; Justin Timberlake & Adam Driver perform, tops the new edition of our loop.
Prurient gave us the highest entry, next to new offerings by Mas Ysa; Miguel; St. Vincent and an infectious collaboration between Major Lazer & Pharrell.
