After looking back at our favourite music of 2013, it’s time now to review the best not new music also released during the year. A treasure trove of reissues, anthologies; box sets, as well as the various artists compilations that have brought some added interest (some would say have saved) to these rather weak twelve months.

Among them a number of recent classics celebrating their 10th anniversary with their correspondent flashy new editions; some great discoveries from around the globe; a few record labels’ anthologies and a couple of excellent soundtracks.
