War Child, the charity organization that provides opportunities and long-time solutions for war affected children all over the world, once responsible for the Rober winner compilation “Help”, has prepared a new star studded album to be released shortly.
The leit motiv this time is rock legends choosing their favorite new bands to cover one of their classics. “Heroes” tracklist includes such surprises as Adam Cohen take on his dad’s “Take This Waltz”; Franz Ferdinand covering Blondie’s “Call me” and TV on The Radio paying tribute to Bowie in the album’s title track. The full album is streaming at myspace.
