Fresh from winning the Rober for breakthrough act, James Blake has taken his ‘Wilhelms Scream’ to the loop’s pole position. The first single from his eponymous debut album has fulfilled all the expectations surrounding the young Brit musician. PJ Harvey keeps on the unstoppable stride of her latest album, hailed as a new masterpiece, ‘Let England Shake’ and after having been already number one with two of its tracks, she’s also this week’s highest entry with ‘The Glorious Land’.
Apart from PJ, two thirds of this week’s loop are new with other new entries provided by chillwave pioneers Toro Y Moi; acclaimed Brit vocalist Anna Calvi and Australian dance-rock purveyors Cut Copy, whom have also launched a competition for people to find out the tracklist of their latest mixtape, ‘A Tale Of Two Journeys’.
