Not a particularly good period for pop music in Spanish, LatinAmerica in general and new sonic goldmine Chile in particular kept a low profile during 2011. Back in Spain, well established favorites of the likes of Nacho Vegas or Christina Rosenvinge delivered once again some of the most remarkable works. The main discovery though, Guadalupe Plata, revitalized garage rock from a small Andalusian village.
