Shimmering Stars debut in style with their retro-tinged first proper 7”, ‘East Van Girls, reaching the top of our loop. Despite being its first proper record, the Canadians had a former hit in our selection a few weeks ago with another classy number, ‘I’m Gonna Try’.
The loop has new entries by some of the most hotly anticipated records of the coming months including Panda Bear‘s third single in the series that leads to the release of ‘Tomboy’; Daft Punk‘s soundtrack of ‘Tron: Legacy’; Lykke Li and Smith Westerns.
