While the Brits were busy revisiting post-rock era, a new generation of bands all over the world were looking back at the sounds of shoegazing, which among other things provoked the rebirth of My Bloody Valentine’s career. Among the genre’s revival maximum exponents were former French duo M83, whom in their last album shrinked to one man band status, with Anthony Gonzalez as its orchestrator, producing such noise pop gems as “Graveyard Girl”.
