Film Poll 2009
The Rober Academy of Entertainment Arts & Sciences proudly invites you to participate in the XXVIII Rober Awards Film Poll.
This year we have moved our deadline forward, from the end of the year to mid February, in order to tackle the disparity of release dates between the US and Europe, with an eye to include as many titles of the current award season as possible. Apologies for the confusion as in this edition you will find the current and last year’s film crop mixed.
Two films “Crazy Heart” and “The Last Station” didn’t meet our new deadline. Therefore, if the buzz surrounding them is justified, they might find a place among 2010’s nominees.
Another one-off change: in this edition we are including up to 8 contenders per category, trying to accommodate as many deserving titles as possible.
Please find the ballot for our music poll below. Should you need any further information about the nominees, there’s a link in each category leading to trailers and interviews for every one of them. Polls will close on March the 7th, right before the Oscar ceremony.
Thanks for your help.

Moon should have been more prevalent in the nominations, especially, Sam Rockwell.
Moon got three nominations..not bad for a debutg. Sam Rockwell is excellent, but this year came pack with good performances
what, no mentions for ‘three monkeys’, ‘anything for her’, ‘mark of an angel’, ‘mesrine’ or ‘bronson’? (can you tell i took notes this year?)
what about ‘viva’ (only joking about that one…)
No wrestler in best soundtrack? 80’s metal – come on!
