Fontaines D.C. Take The Loop To Their Better Land

Dublin post-punks Fontaines DC take this week’s edition of our loop by storm with ‘Boys From A Better Land’ from their superb debut album ‘Dogrel.’ They are followed by one of our Sound of 2019 nominees, Amber Mark, and new indie pop sensation from Brooklyn Claud.

Billie Eilish Makes The Bad Guy Win The Loop

The latest US teen superstar, indie songwriter Billie Eilish, who apparently is the first artist born in the 2000s to reach the #1 in the American album charts, also tops this week’s edition of our loop with her latest single ‘bad guy.’

The soulful jazz of Damon Locks and Black Monument Ensemble is the highest debut of the week, keeping even the eventful ‘Homecoming’ of Beyoncé behind. Zebra Hunt ‘See You Through’ Is Our Song Of The Week

Fresh from touring Spain, promoting their excellent second album ‘Trade Desire,’ Seattle band Zebra Hunt reach the top position in our loop with ‘See You Through.’ Purveyors of Porc-art Los Ganglios hold this week’s #2, followed by London producer Georgia.

The Loop Goes To The Movies With Weyes Blood

Weyes Blood is the new #1 in our loop with ‘Movies,’ one of the standout moments from her excellent fourth album ‘Titanic Rising.’ The Santa Monica songwriter also enters our list as the guest vocalist in the new Drugstore track.
