Best Coast first album, despite its overfamiliar feeling, didn’t lose any punch thanks to a collection of tunes where most if not all of them could have been perfect singles. The hard coating of guitar sound wrapping a very sweet melodic centre was the trademark in standout tracks like ‘Boyfriend’; ‘When I’m With You’ or ‘The End’.
