4AD has built a listening post to preview in full the new and imminent Breeders album “Mountain Battles”, whereas Stones Throw rapper Guilty Simpson’s well received “Ode To The Ghetto” is the subject of this week’s paperthinwalls listening party.

Popular new music website Pitchforkmedia has got the rather ambitious plan of launching a free, internet based music TV, that could easily become the MTV for the XXIst century, after the pioneering music channel has fallen victim of its own overcommercialization.
