Canadian collective Broken Social Scene became somehow a reserve of independent stars, when each member began to release records in parallel projects. Among all of them, the most notorious was Leslie Feist solo work in two excellent records full of modern MOR, “Mushaboom” & “The Reminder”. With advertising being one of the most used channels to make new music popular; “1234”, the lively highlight of her second album, was one of the most profusely synchronized songs in recent years.
