Scottish music’s best kept secret, Aberfeldy launched its career with this charming piece of twee indie-pop to critical acclaim. “Heliopolis by night” became something of a cult classic that, unfortunately, didn’t have a follow-up of the same impact. After enduring several line-up changes, the band from Edinburgh hasn’t given up yet and is currently preparing a third album, which we hope it will bring some more gems of this caliber.
