Just joined the recently formed Monsters Of Folk, right after his duet with Zooey Deschanel; M. Ward has been a notable presence within the boundaries of the new millennium’s alt. country. The sixth solo album of this Portland troubadour, “Post-War” offered his thoughts about North America after the war in Iraq and contained some interludes of traditional romantic crooning such as “Chinese Translation.”
