European girls dominate this week’s loop with Pega Monstro bringing their irresistibly catchy garage sound to the top of our chart. Championed by Panda Bear, who began his Gorilla Vs. Bear blog takeover with it, ‘Braço De Ferro’ is the first taster from their second album ‘Alfarroba’ and looks set to place this two sisters from Lisbon among the hippest bands in the planet.

French sensation Christine And the Queens are the highest entry of this edition, which also features the latest tracks by Jamie XX Feat Young Thug & Popcaan; Mammút; Destroyer; Mas Ysa and the return of 90s electronic icons Leftfield in colaboration with Poliça’s lead singer Channy Leaneagh.

Italo-American songwriter, Porcelain Raft is back with his strong new EP ‘Half Awake’, from which the standout cut, ‘All In My Head’, takes over the latest edition of our loop.

FFS Collaboration Work Its Way To #1

Lisbon sisters Pega Monstro bring the highest debut, followed by new tracks by the likes of Alabama Shakes; Moses Sumney; Nai Harvest; Vince Staples and two remarkable covers, Kurt Cobain doing The Beatles’ ‘And I Love her’ from the recent documentary dedicated to his life and, hopefully, a forthcoming record of unreleased solo covers; and Jazmine Sullivan‘s timely rendition of Nina Simone’s ‘Baltimore’, from a soon to be released tribute album.

Masked female rapper from Brooklyn Leikeli47, looking like she just came out of filming “Spring Breakers”, irrupts into the top of our loop this week with her catchy, EDM-tinged track “Heard Em Say”.
