Drake Headlining The Loop

Canadian R&B hearthrob Drake keeps on fueling the high expectations for his forthcoming album ‘Take Care’ by flooding the market with new material, plus a handful of high profile collaborations. ‘Headlines’ is so far our favourite track and leads this week’s loop.

His mate and regular recording partner The Weeknd is the highest entry with ‘Lonely Days’, one of the highlights from his new mixtape ‘Thursday’. Other notable mixtape by Danny Brown is also ranking high, as well as new entries by Neon Indian; Feist; Ganglians; Deerhoof with Jeff Tweedy and Lil Wayne , who also teams up with Drake, while promoting the release of the long-awaited fourth instalment of his career peak, ‘The Carter’.

The Loop Gets Covered In Wu Lyf’s Dirt

Media Shy Mancunian rockers Wu Lyf have finally reached the top of the loop with their standout track ‘Dirt’, one of the best from their acclaimed debut ‘Go Tell Fire To The Mountain’

Last week’s event album, ‘Watch The Throne’, the collaboration between Jay-Z & KanYe West produced the highest entry, with new downloads by the likes of El-P; Air France and Holy Ghost teaming up with Michael McDonald also debuting in our list.

I Break Horses’ All-Conquering Winter Beats

Just when we thought that the whole Shoegazing revival was over, a new Swedish duo comes to proves us wrong, becoming this week’s number one in our loop. I Break Horses‘ ear for a sublime tune has made of ‘Winter Beats’, the second taster from their debut album ‘Hearts’ , our favourite track during the last seven days.

Highest entries this week are Frank Ocean and Bridget Kelley, the second covering a song penned by the first, with both versions being equally appealing; New tracks from Björk and Mogwai and free downloads by Drake and Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, among many others.

Real Estate Get Real On Top Of The Loop

‘I’m Real’, released as a free download to their fans and the first taster from up and coming Brooklyn psychedelic pop quartet Real Estate‘s second opus ‘Days’, tops this week’s loop.
